Welcome to my family history web site

Because I intentionally keep this web site as private as I can, most people who find this site will have been given the link to it by me and therefore will be related to me in some way. So perhaps I should say welcome to our family history web site. I hope that you find the information detailed here as interesting as I found researching it.

I first started to get interested in my family history in the 1980s and have been doing research on and off ever since. If you want to find out more about how I got the bug or anything else about the site, you can visit the FAQ page where some of this is outlined.

If you want to go directly to one of the main family lines, the links to these stories are at the top of the page where you expect to find them. The news section is a blog page where I add notes on my research findings and I also log any changes I make to the content or structure of the site there also. For me, the site is a working tool and some of the content and structure reflect that. Again, the FAQ page explains this.

As the site develops, I will be adding further pages and updating the stories with new information as I uncover it. You can always return to it from time to time to see what has changed. It is always a work in progress so please forgive any dead-ends or styling issues; I hope to improve the site as time permits.
